I get a "URL not found" when I click on one of the URL's that clicked on my budurl Posted 2 years ago by Dave Balch in BudURL.com

On my clickstream, I wanted to know where some of my clicks were coming from so I clicked on the URL an got 'This link appears to be broken"

Sorry about the confusion there. I have updated the link on BudURL to show the correct arin.net address.

There could be a variety of reasons why the referring URL does not work. The most likely is that the URL requires authentication such as online email website. The URL may be very specific to the user who clicked on it an no one can access the link except that user. If you want to share the broken link I can probably provide more insight.

Here is the URL that is generated by budurl:

http://ws.arin.net/whois/?queryinput=216.24.142.46

That gives me a broken link.

BUT...

The link works if I delete the "ws." so that the URL looks like this:

http://arin.net/whois/?queryinput=216.24.142.46
